Dana has quickly moved through our clinical advancement program (PEAK) to the highest level and was able to further develop her leadership skill by becoming a charge therapist.
Dana has taken an interest at the bedside by taking an active role in important PICU initiatives.

A few comments from Edward's Nomination form:
Ed is actively involved in his community. He is a BLS Instructor who dedicates volunteer time advocated and educating. Ed is an active member of a ski patrol team to rescue/assist/provide emergency medical care. Ed is also a member of his local police department as an auxillary police member. He volunteers to support local law enforcement by performing non-enforcement and non-hazardous duties, such as community patrol, traffic/crowd control, and assisting during emergencies.
Ed works closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and collaborate on patient care, ensuring each patient receives the highest standard of safe, effective, and evidence-based respiratory care. He actively partners with physicians, nurses, and case management to develop and implement individualized care plans that address each patient’s respiratory needs while supporting overall treatment goals.
Ed consistently exemplifies the highest standards of clinical excellence, patient safety, and professional leadership in respiratory care. His direct impact on patient outcomes, commitment to collaboration, and dedication to advancing the practice of respiratory therapy make him an outstanding clinical practitioner. Ed’s knowledge, integrity, and compassion set a standard to which others aspire. It is with the highest confidence and enthusiasm that I recommend Ed for consideration for the Clinical Practitioner Award.
