Join the PSRC as we return to the land of Oz in the musical "WICKED"!
Long before Dorothy dropped in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz. One, born with emerald green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. How these two unlikely friends end up as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch makes for one of the most spellbinding new musicals in years. Nominated for 10 Tony awards (and winner of 3!), WICKED features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz who also wrote the Broadway hits Godspell and Pippin.
WICKED is returning to Philadelphia's Academy of Music theater after selling out all performances during stops in Philadelphia in 2006 & 2007 and the PSRC is offering hard to get tickets to our members (and their guests) for the 6:30pm performance on Sunday, January 10, 2010. All seats are located in the "Parquet" level (otherwise known as "orchestra" in other theaters) and no matter where you sit in that section, it's a GREAT seat!! Tickets are $92.00 each and may be purchased by check or credit card. This is a savings of $25.00 off the price of a comparable seat in New York (including service charge!).
A limited number of tickets are available and are being offered on a first come, first serve basis. Hurry! Demand for these tickets is once again expected to be quite high and tickets won't last long! (In 2007, 50 tickets were sold within 3 days!) Here's all the details:

1. Ticket price for all seats is $92.00 each and all seats are located in the Left or Right Parquet
(click here to view a seating chart). However, due to the popularity of the show, seats are
scattered throughout different sections of the Parquet area in groups of 2-5 seats. Ticket orders
of 5 or less will have their seats together in the same row. If your size group (particularly
groups of 5) are no longer available in one row, you will be informed and given the
opportunity to cancel your order or split into two smaller groups.
2. Ticket purchases are non-refundable, however, if you need to sell your seats, the PSRC will
assist you in finding someone to purchase them!
3. Travel to and from the theater is the responsibility of the ticket holder. Parking lots are located
near the theater and charge between $15-$25.
4. Purchased tickets will be mailed to the ticket buyer at least two weeks prior to the event (and
likely well before then).
