Full-Time,
Evening/Night Shifts, 12-Hour Shifts (6:45pm-7:15am)
• Positions available at Lehigh Valley
Hospital-Cedar Crest,
Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem, PA.
• Direct
and manage the respiratory and pulmonary care for a designated group of
patients, reporting
to the Director and management team for Respiratory Care.
• In collaboration with the RN, provide direct care as dictated by patients' needs.
Requirements:
• Graduate from an CoARC
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialing by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• If
registry-eligible, new hire requires registration within 18 months of
employment, or as stipulated
by the Director.
• Active
licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the state of
• All
practitioners need to obtain their CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications
within 18 months of
employment.
• All
practitioners working in the Neonatal ICU need to obtain their NRP
within 18 months of
employment.
• All
pediatric/neonatal practitioners need to obtain their NPS certification
within 18 months of
employment.
•
Influenza vaccination will be required for all personnel working within
LVHN who have patient
contact, unless medically contraindicated or due to a bona fide
religious belief or practice.
