![]() Penn State Hershey Medical Center is a 501-bed facility designated as a level 1 regional trauma center. As central PA’s only academic medical center and home to Penn State Children’s Hospital, we are recognized as the resource for the region’s most complex adult and pediatric cases.
We are seeking experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists to join our team. You would be responsible for evaluating the respiratory needs of patients and developing a care plan, performing various complex procedures and techniques required for the administration of respiratory care and directing the work of junior staff members and support personnel.
Must have an associates degree from an accredited CoARC respiratory therapist program with a minimum one year of experience and have the RRT credential. Must also be legally credentialed in Pennsylvania as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. RESPIRATORY THERAPY - SHIFT SUPERVISOR This position is responsible for setting up all types of oxygen inhalation therapy, supervising lower level technicians on assigned equipment, and performing various complex tests and inhalation procedures. Minimum Qualifications:
Position requires PA licensure as a Respiratory Therapist with an
Associate's Degree, plus 2-3 years of experience, some of which must be
Supervisory in nature. A
Bachelors Degree is preferred.
