During the final days of 2006, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) inched a step closer to issuing a national coverage policy for outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation by formally requesting comments on a range of issues regarding the service. If you believe the practice or service provided by a licensed professional to be unethical, immoral, below an acceptable standard of practice, or out of the scope of the profession, you are urged to contact the Bureau of Professional and Occupational affairs and file a complaint. Complaints may be filed anonymously by indicating in the body of the complaint that you wish to have your name withheld. The toll-free number to call is: 1-800-822-2113. You may also file your complaint by mail by downloading a complaint form by accessing the Department of
