Hit Counters			Respiratory Care Programs in Pennsylvania To begin practicing as a licensed respiratory therapist in one of the 48 states that require licensure or legal credentialing (including Pennsylvania), you must first obtain a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy. In addition, some colleges and universities offer a Bachelor’s Degree as well. The word "accreditation" is used extremely often in the Respiratory Care profession. This is especially true when it comes to educational programs offering respiratory therapy. Click here to view the most important things to consider when choosing a program to attend. The following schools offer a program in respiratory therapy that has received either "Continuing Accreditation" or "Initial Accreditation" by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). Other programs may be available in various parts of the state that have received a "Letter of Review" from CoARC.
