Hit Counters			Respiratory Care Programs in Pennsylvania To begin practicing as a licensed respiratory therapist in one of the 48 states that require licensure or legal credentialing (including Pennsylvania), you must first obtain a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy. In addition, some colleges and universities offer a Bachelor’s Degree as well. The word "accreditation" is used extremely often in the Respiratory Care profession.
