Long before Dorothy dropped in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. How these two unlikely friends end up as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch makes for one of the most spellbinding new musicals in years. Nominated for 10 Tony awards (and winner of 3!), WICKED features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz who also wrote the Broadway hits Godspell and Pippin.

WICKED is returning to Philadelphia's Academy of Music theater after selling out all performances during a stop in Philadelphia in 2006 and the PSRC is offering hard to get tickets to our members (and their guests) for the 2:00pm matinee performance on Saturday, September 8, 2007! All seats are located in the "Parquet" level (otherwise known as "orchestra" in other theaters). Tickets are $92.50 each and may be purchased by check or credit card. This is a savings of $24.50 off the price of a comparable seat in New York (including service charge!).
