Continuing Education Requirements
The Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine regulates the requirements for continuing education of respiratory therapists in the commonwealth. In 2008, the law that mandates continuing education was updated. Click Here for the latest update on the regulations that will enact these new changes. (Latest update: December 12, 2012)

PSRC Endorsed Educational Events
PSRC endorsement of educational programs indicates that the PSRC has reviewed the content of the programs offered and found them to be of high quality and value for Respiratory Therapists. Courses offered by endorsed providers must be accredited by the AARC and are accepted by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine and Board of Osteopathic Medicine to meet the continuing education requirement for Respiratory Therapists.
